Born in Kiev, Ukraine, and raised in Chicago, Yuri's journey from immigrant to successful entrepreneur, venture advisor, and media producer was paved with adversity, rejections, and personal challenges—experiences that now shape 72Equity's guidance to startup and established companies.
With experience spanning NBC Universal, Fremantle, Spike TV, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, the S.B.A., Shorts.tv, Amazon, and Filmdemand, Yuri has personally raised capital for international film finance, production, and distribution ventures.
He has been involved in developing, launching, and advising to startup across publicly traded restaurant franchises, fintech, health & wellness, sports collectibles, and media—always with a focus on purpose-driven entrepreneurship.
Yuri balances deep institutional knowledge with a philosophy of treating others with a high degree of human dignity and ethics. For discipline and focus, he trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.
